Today he gets to face the Sharks – a team he’s dominated. Over his last seven games against the Sharks, he has 36 SOG – averaging 5.14 SOG per game. Dougie should find plenty of opportunities today.
Jake DeBrusk o2.5 SOG (-125)
With Marchand out, DeBrusk has been playing some elite hockey. Last season this man was averaging 15 minutes on the ice, and over his previous three games, he’s been averaging 19.76 minutes. But wait, there’s more (lol) – DeBrusk has totaled 21 SOG. And before I go on, DeBrusk has hit the over in 4/5 games. Averaging 4.2 SOG, and yet, the Books don’t care. So hey, let’s make some money off them.
Boone Jenner o2.5 SOG (-120)
With the absence of Patrik Laine, Jenner has stepped up his game. Heck, he’s played so well that he’s hit the over in 5/5 games. Jenner is averaging 4 SOG while also averaging 7.75 Shot Attempts per game. Today he faces the Penguins – last season; he hit this line in both games averaging 5.5 SOG with 8.5 Shot Attempts per game.
Elias Pettersson o2.5 SOG (-150)
It should really be no surprise that I am again playing Pettersson. The man has been a stud all season, and if the Books want to give us this under -180, then I will keep taking it. He’s hit at this line every game played this season. And what I love is the amount of Shot Attempts he’s taking. Throughout five games, he’s totaled 40 Shot Attempts – averaging eight Shot Attempts per game. And now he gets to face the Sabres, who are allowing 41 SOG per game? Sign me up!
